How to Service Your ProArm: A Step-by-Step Guide to Cleaning and ReassemblingUpdated 6 months ago


If your ProArm is experiencing stiffness or binding, it may be due to accumulated dirt or debris inside the assembly. Follow these steps to properly clean and service your ProArm, restoring smooth operation:


Tools Required:

Appropriate tool to remove ProArm bolt

Clean rag or cloth

Isopropyl alcohol


Servicing Procedure:


1. Using the correct tool, remove the bolt securing the ProArm assembly cover.

2. Carefully extract the plastic and metal components to expose the internal mechanism. Do not attempt to remove the bonded component.

3. Saturate the rag with isopropyl alcohol and wipe down the internal components and ProArm tube, moving the rag back and forth

Repeat this process 3-4 times until all dirt and debris is removed

4. Insert the rigid rod into the ProArm tube and tap the top firmly to dislodge any remaining particulates.


Reassemble in this order:

1. Fully insert plastic piece, aligning ridge with ball detent

2. Press the plastic piece down firmly while twisting it until it clicks and seats evenly

3. Reinstall and tighten ProArm bolt until the assembly is secure and does not rotate.
