How to pack your Ready Rig securely in its carrying caseUpdated 6 months ago

In this video, we'll demonstrate the proper way to disassemble and pack your Ready Rig into its carrying case for safe storage and transportation. We'll guide you through each step, ensuring that your equipment is well-protected and organized. By following these steps, you'll be able to efficiently pack your Ready Rig, keeping it in excellent condition for your next video project.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Disassemble Ready Rig: Remove the ProArms, shoulder supports, and chassis from the assembled Ready Rig.
  2. Prepare the carrying case: Open the carrying case and move the inner bag straps to the side for easier access.
  3. Place the vest chassis: Put the Ready Rig vest chassis on the bottom of the bag with the back of the vest facing down.
  4. Collapse ProArms: Adjust the ProArms to their smallest size for compact storage.
  5. Position ProArms on vest padding: Place the collapsed ProArms on top of the vest padding inside the carrying case.
  6. Secure ProArms to chassis: Use the provided straps to securely fasten the ProArms to the vest chassis.
  7. Add the belt: Place the belt over the ProArms, slightly offsetting it to reduce the overall size of the packed equipment.
  8. Position shoulder supports: Take the shoulder supports and place them on top of the ProArms, ensuring that the shoulder wings are facing away from each other.
  9. Close the carrying case: Zip up the carrying case, making sure all components are securely inside.
  10. Fasten compression straps: Clip the four compression straps on the outside of the carrying case to further secure the contents.
  11. Compress the bag: Tighten the compression straps to compress the bag and ensure the vest and all components are snugly packed inside.

By following these steps, you'll have your Ready Rig securely packed and ready for storage or transportation to your next video shoot location.
