How to Fix Your ProArm When the Screw Comes LooseUpdated 10 days ago
Issue
If the screw detaches from the bushing, the first stage of the ProArm tube will become loose. This guide will help you reattach the screw securely.
Tools and Supplies Needed
Rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl alcohol)
#2 Phillips head screwdriver
Imperial hex tool set (hex tool size depends on your Ready Rig version)
Steps to Fix Your ProArm
Watch our maintenance video first: For reference on how to properly disassemble and clean your ProArm, watch our step-by-step video guide.
Clean components: Thoroughly clean the screw and bushing surfaces using rubbing alcohol to remove grease, dirt, and debris.
Apply Loctite: Place a small amount of Loctite 263 red locking agent onto the threads of the screw. This ensures the screw remains firmly attached.
Secure the screw: Carefully thread and gently tighten the screw into the ProArm tube. The bushing should be able to spin freely; do not overtighten.
Allow to cure: Let the Loctite fully cure according to the manufacturer's instructions (typically 24 hours for maximum strength).
Final Reassembly: After curing, complete the final reassembly of your ProArm by carefully following the cleaning video instructions.
Tips
Ensure all surfaces are completely dry before applying Loctite.
Avoid overtightening to prevent damage to threads or components.
